Welcome to the OR0015P - Bend Chapter NSDAR's Wreaths Across America Page.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization founded in 1890, dedicated to historic preservation, education, and patriotism.  Members are descendants of patriots who aided the American Revolution, with roughly 190,000 members in 3,000 chapters world wide.

Bend Chapter NSDAR, was established on March 25, 1942, at a dinner meeting in the Pine Tavern. The organizing members considered calling themselves the Pilot Butte Chapter; but in May 1942, the chapter was officially named Bend Chapter. Formed from the Deschutes Chapter of Redmond, which was organized in 1919, Lorraine Gard Eriksen, organizing regent, was elected Bend Chapter's first regent.

Over the years, Bend Chapter has officially recognized local students, adults, and others who have given generously of their time and talents in service to the Bend area community in the areas of our objectives, historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Our growing membership looks forward to continued contributions to our area-wide community in these objectives.

On December 19, 2026 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details),  OR0015P - Bend Chapter NSDAR will be helping central Oregonians to remember and honor our veterans by laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the OR0015P - Bend Chapter NSDAR and Wreaths Across America!

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
