Welcome to the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 19, 2026 at 11:00 am (CST) (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do not do an adequate job finding the cemetery.  Please follow the directions below if you have never been to our cemetery.  From New Orleans and East: 1. Travel east on I-10 towards Slidell 2. Merge on to I-12 West towards Hammond 3. Take exit 80 onto Airport Rd. (Brown Cemetery sign on interstate) 4. Turn right onto Airport Rd.(Brown Cemetery sign on exit) 5. Take next right at the light in front of the gas station (Blue Cemetery sign) 6. Follow service road (Grantham College Rd.) into Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery From Lacombe and West: 1. Travel east on I-12 towards Slidell 2. Take exit 80 onto Airport Rd. (Brown Cemetery sign on interstate) 3. Turn left onto Airport Rd. (Brown Cemetery sign on exit) 4. Go over the interstate 5. Take next right at the light in front of the gas station (Blue Cemetery sign) 6. Follow service road (Grantham College Rd.) into Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery

Parking Instructions

Please follow the parking attendants as you enter the cemetery, they will direct you to the proper parking locations.  We have limited parking and very limited  handicapped parking available so if you or a loved one requires handicapped drop off please be sure to arrive before 9:00am.    Once parking has filled up we cannot allow vehicles to drive through the cemetery so please arrive as early as possible and carpool if you can.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. 

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
